The well behind the bushes
There was no water in this well. You could see only rocks down there. And oh yeah pigeons homes, and lots of pigeon-poop all around the circular 4 feet wall. There was a iron pulley, old rusted one. Wearied out of usage, hanging on the pulley shaft. This well looked abandoned, and forgotten. Nobody came to this, except for curious children like us. Who would very cautiously take a peek into the well, get excited at the echoes of their screams or even falling stones. Scare pigeons off, and enjoy their re-sounding fluttering. The well was tiled with rocks. This region had scared in water. On the outskirts of the desert. So the well was reached deep for water. The region was arid. We were scared of the depth. But yet we would want to see it. The thrill of playing around it never ended.
