The tower which shaked
Stood in the center of the city. The TOWER which everyone worshipped. Shiva's shivling out of ground. It was an old tower, must be 500 years now. A big one. It looked as if its days have gotten completed. But who would believe this out of countless devotees of shiva? Their stead fast faith would keep them worshipping the tower, circling it, and living around it. They would milk the tower everyday, thinking it makes it stronger. The tower was no concrete pillar. Was casted in brick and lime, and no cement or sand neither. But it was city's spirit. People came from far off places to see the tower. It would shake at times but wouldn't fall. Don't know what kept it from falling. One day came an enormous thunder storm, so huge that many of the cities homes flew away. Then it rained profusely. The tower was shaken to its roots. Even nearby trees fell on it. Animals, birds, and people ran for their lives. Much of the strongly built city was in ruins.
But surprisingly the tower was still standing intact. May be Shiva was holding it strong beneath the ground all the time? The devotees power of faith made Shiva leave his heavenly abode at himalayas and come rescue the tower? The devotes just fell in love with the tower more than ever before!
