I happened to stumble over her the movie "Frida" in my apartment library.

Now from the movie:

If you are a real painter you can't live without painting, you paint or you die.

Her work is...

Acid and tender
Hard as steel
Fine as a butterfly's wings
Loveable as a smile
Cruel as bitterness of life

I don't beleive that ever before a women put such an agonized poetry on canvas.
