Never realized cult forms the very root of the word culture. Interesting observation Hirdu.

There is a lot of power in cult. Yield to it, and realize it.

Start wearing a dhoti-kurta from today? May be wear a turban? How about an orange one ? And keep long moustache, and talk and walk it out.....

actually america has no culture of its own. it is disjoint, disparate groups of people living together for while....

Do we really need a CULT-ture ?

Isn't being human already enough. Why so many labels and identification badges in the name of CULT-ture...

I donot agree with the thought of getting some Mohan to solve Charanpur. NO CHRIST theropy.

Only the answer to "Who is John Galt?" is enough.

Only those Values erode which envelopes a CULT-ture, rest all are deepened down the soul. Those donot need dhoti kurta turban etc.

we must answer the fundamental questions first:

what is cult and culture?

why is culture there? where are the roots of it?

why the heck i care about it?

Coz you identify your identity with those identifications termed as envelops of culture.

For those who cannot look within culture acts as a clue as to what to do when life is so full of ambuiguity and which happens at lots of moments. So culture conditions your default response to stimulus.

Your self-identity is not just mererly cultural. It is unique to who you are. However culture plays in important role in shaping it up.

Culture is like potters hand shaping up the me mud pot.
