Visit to a barn

Today evening, I thought I'd drive past the country-side farms just 5 miles from my home. Rushing past greened mountains, and tall grasses, and cute huts. Some yellow, some brown, some red.

Then I did something I never do, go into a farm road. Empty it was except for a stranger riding on a bicycle. A lady. I drove near her, and said hello, and asked where am I? As I had no idea where this road is leading to.

She explained you the just by the snowqualmie river! And asked me to check out the barn she works in. The new born horse babies they had. And the fine horses.

Couldn't say no. You don't get to see barn everyday. 3 beautiful mares with their cute babies.

Walked in. The owner joined us. Introduced myself, where I work, what I do. And he and the lady showed my around the barn - the horses cages, the food: hay and grains.

I curiously watched them do their stuff like feed the horses, give them water. Everything awfully clean.

The horses they had were meant to be trained for racing. And their horses were world record holders. Very sturdy and tall - 2 pure black and 1 pure white.

I padded the babies a bit, - this is how you say hello to a horse.

And then they told me how to get out of place to get back to my home.

And on the way they showed me down the snowqualmie river. And described that there are all kinds of animal and birds here: hawks, coyotes, owls...if you want to watch.
